On the Table- Kill Team Marines and Genestealer Cult

Hi again all, over the last few weeks I've been finishing up some models I've owned for a while (and some newer) that I've had for Kill Team and with the new edition I'm keen to start playing again.

First off was the team I bought last edition to play with, Astartes that I painted up as the Minotaurs chapter. Super easy Contrast paints over metallic basecoat for the armour, it was a look that I am happy with nonetheless and I will likely be replicating it in the future as a staple technique with large amounts of gold and bronze. Many of the Veterans I will be counting as a Deathwatch warband with the Chaplain leading, and the Chapter Master and Dreadnought I just had to finish the set of characters and if I can eventually use them later, I will.

After these I painted up a few Genestealer Cult models so I can play both Kill Team and Necromunda, having options for both. I'm most happy that I can use them in both games as is, and I think the shenanigans I can pull with these will be a good counterbalance to the Marines as well.

On the Table- Wonder Woman 1984, Fallout

Another hobby update, I'm still working away on a bunch of projects and getting things completed. Jumping around a bit more to spice things up in lockdown, but I'm also managing to finish a whole lot of different systems so I can happily call everything fully painted and be ready to play everything once things open up again.

First up I finished a model I wanted to paint for a while, the Golden Eagle model from Wonder Woman 1984. This sculpt is really nice and was quite simple to paint up, so as a night's project it was a nice thing to get done

A few weeks ago I picked up a bunch of models for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare for the Brotherhood of Steel and Enclave. Both of these are my favourite factions in the lore and they even share a couple of models in-game so I have a bit of variety in terms of playing the game, and the sculpts are amazing. As a big Fallout fan, I'm really happy I finally bit the bullet and bought into the game because I can also use all my Batman terrain for it as well.

On the Table- Easterlings, Monsterpocalypse, Necromunda

Another fortnight, another update because I'm still in lockdown and painting a lot. Hanging out for games but at least I can manage to get things finished in the meantime.

Once all my Malifaux stuff from the last update was finished I started on the units I had leftover for Monsterpocalypse to finish that off. Quick paintjobs on them but it does the trick, and elite units have all been given different paintjobs to show them easily on the table.

I also finished off a Delaque Spyker from ArtelW to go with my Necromunda gang. Got a campaign hopefully starting up some time soon and this will be the first thing I save my credits for because I love the idea of taking an unsanctioned psyker as part of my gang.

Since then I've been working on a huge project for me, finally finishing the Easterling army I bought 2 years ago and have always burnt out before finishing anything. I painted up enough for a Battle Company a while ago, but now I've finished everything in the army except for the pikes (important part, I know) and Khamul's Fell Beast which I'll finish later on, because I know that if I start on them now I'll burn out again.

On the Table- Battlefleet Heresy, Necromunda, Avengers

Hi again all! Thought I'd put up another hobby post with what I've been working on lately and talk about how I've been hobbying.
A couple weeks ago I finished up my Delaque gang for Necromunda. I haven't played it yet, but I'm hoping to set some things up once I can make it to a local club meet and give these guys a try. I really love the sneaky cloaked aesthetics of the gang and their fluff as information brokers and spies, so I had to pick them up (and add some Forge World weapons to them as well).
More recently I've been working on a Battlefleet Heresy fleet for the Dark Angels. The Dark Angels have always been my favourite Legion, they're what I have for 40k as well (updates on that soon) and before I sold them off I had them for 30k as well. With the rules online and a few people locally building up fleets, I decided to expand into a 2nd BFG fleet and build up the Dark Angels. I've got my hands on a metal Desolator and have converted it up by removing Chaos stars and adding Dark Angel symbols (thanks 40k bitz!) to act as the Invincible Reason as my flagship, and am now waiting on the rest of the fleet before I start painting. The different playstyle alone is something I'm looking forward to compared to Eldar, and there's going to be a lot of gaming to be had once I get the fleet up and ready.
My latest paint project has been the old Knight Models set of Avengers, plus the Hulk. While these are a fully playable list for the Marvel/DCU game they're mainly being painted to sit on my shelf and finish off my Marvel collection.

That's been my last month of hobby, next up is more Bushido!
